A little more clarity

Good questions.
Useful answers.

Can I try sending an SMS first?

Yes. Create an account, confirm your email and verify your mobile number. Free Demo lets you send single messages to your own verified phone, within its current allowance.

Does sent mean delivered?

No. Queued, sent and delivered describe different stages. Delivery depends on the route, mobile network and recipient; a delivery confirmation appears when the provider reports it.
