This year, SMS turns 22 years old. The 1st SMS was sent on December 1, 1992 by Neil Papworth to his friend Richard Jarvis. Content of the Short Message was “Merry Christmas” and it marked the start of a revolution in the communication among people around the world. Today, everyone on the world, with a mobile phone, uses SMS (Short Message Service) as a medium to communicate with close ones.
