Tuesday January 4, 2005 Bluetooth In Your Jacket? Burton is trying really hard to appeal to younger generations with its announcement that they will be putting Bluetooth into their new jackets. They teamed up with Motorola to hip up their jackets. Select Burton jackets will feature a cell phone and MP3 device pocket which will store your electronics safely when you are hanging on to your board for dear life when you hit that ever so nasty ice patch. In addition they plan to have a control pad on the sleeve that will allow you to answer calls and change MP3 tracks! The hood of the jacket will have removable headphones so you don�t have to have a million wires running to your head. Who knows what this will lead to? This idea isn't totally new, last year on January 8th Burton and Apple announced their jacket which could control an iPod, but it didn't work with other players and didn't include Bluetooth.
